MAC ALL THAT GLITTERS REVIEW MAC
A quick sweep of Lancôme Hypnose mascara on the lashes finishes the look.īlack Violet, eye liner, eye makeup look, Limitless Eye Liner, MAC All That Glitters, MAC Satin Taupe, Smashbox 4 Comments I lined the tightline, waterline, upper lash line and lower lash line all with Black Violet and smudged the lines with a MAC 219. Then I used a small bit of MAC All That Glitters (a rose gold) in the inner corner. All I have used here is MAC Satin Taupe (a purple gray taupe) all over the lid and in the crease. In the simple eye makeup look below I show you Smashbox Limitless Eye Liner in Black Violet in action. It comes off easily enough with a good eye makeup remover or usually whatever cleanser I’m using to take my makeup off will remove the eye liner as well.Īlso the sharpener in the lid is quite handy as it will sharpen any makeup pencil. So when travelling, if you bring this eye liner then there is no need for a separate sharpener for other pencils. I use a MAC 219 brush to smudge the line but you have to be quick because once it sets it doesn’t budge. You can smudge it out to soften the line.

The formula is nice to use it glides along the skin without dragging or pulling. It’s not so dark that it looks harsh on me but it is dark enough for a nice smoky eye. The name of this is Black Violet and as the name suggests it a dark purple it’s definitely more purple than black. I personally do not like black eyeliner on me so I tend to mostly use browns and purples. It’s one of my favourite eye liners, not my all time favourite but it’s up there and I use it loads. I ended up buying this on a bit of a whim and I’m glad I did. While I was waiting for my hairdresser in my beauty and hair salon I started playing with the bits and pieces on their Smashbox stand.

Are you a pro with liquid liner or are you a clumsy novice like me? While my line is far from perfect, it’s pretty good for me.

I lined both water lines with MAC Coffee, I then lined under Coffee with Feral Brown and went under that with All that Glittersįinally I applied Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

I used the RT Silicone Brush to line the top lid with MAC BlacktrackĦ. In the outer corner I added MAX Factor Feral Brown for extra definitionĥ. Next I applied MAC All That Glitters all over the lidĤ. I then used Max Factor Auburn Envy in the creaseģ. I used Kiko Long Lasting Stick in Golden Beige all over the lid and crease as an eyelid primerĢ. Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara (not pictured)ġ. MAX Factor Wild Shadow Pot in Feral Brown Max Factor Wild Shadow Pot in Auburn Envy Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in Golden Beige I really like the look of a sharp black liquid eyeliner flick over pale metallic eye shadow, so that’s what I have tried to do here: So I broke out the RT Silicone Liner Brush and MAC Fluidline, another thing I have had for ages and hardly ever use. Today I thought it was time I did something different as I am always lining my eyes with brown or purple pencil or eye shadow. I bought the Real Techniques Silicone Liner brush ages ago and it does make it so much easier but let’s face it, I’m a creature of habit so I hardly ever use it. I know I could do my eyes first but that just feels all wrong. Noting worse than almost being done doing your makeup and then ruining it all with dodgy liquid eyeliner, pencil is so much easier to tidy up. Anyone who has been following my little blog for a while now will have noticed that I rarely use liquid eye liner.
